Fall Weekend
Not interested in a full week of camp in the summer? Horizon offers a fall weekend camp experience that is held in late September/early October each year. Fall Weekend is a condensed version of our summer camp in a smaller more intimate setting. Participants will enjoy 2 days and 2 nights sitting around campfires, playing board/card games and working on an arts and crafts project. Fall weekend also takes place at Timber Pointe Outdoor Center, in Hudson, Illinois. Applications come out in late summer each year. Stay tuned for our 2022 date.

Social Events
Throughout the year, Horizon hosts multiple social gatherings around the Chicago area. In addition to our summer and fall camps we want to continue offering activities year round to those with and without disabilities and their families. In years past we have held baseball and hockey outings, family picnics, holiday parties, and shop with a friend just to name a few.
