The organization is always willing to look at new activities. Over the years, we have held a variety of different planned outings. For example, we did a group outing at Brookfield Zoo. Members gathered, had lunch together and then viewed the animals at their own leisure. Baseball outings can also bring together a large group of Horizon members.
Each fall we get together for Shop with a Friend at Gurnee Mills Mall; a longtime tradition. We shop all day then meet for dinner afterwards and exchange gifts white elephant style. We have also done many sports related Events including: Chicago Wolves hockey outing, a White Sox patio party or even people just getting together to watch the Kane County Cougars. Everyone involved had a great time.
