Holiday Shop with a Friend
Welcome the holiday season Horizon style!
Each fall we get together for Shop with a Friend at Gurnee Mills Mall, as we celebrate a longtime tradition filled with shopping, fun, and camaraderie. We shop all day then meet for a catered dinner afterwards at a nearby hotel.
Participants exchange gifts white elephant style and partake in many exciting activities to close out the evening.
We reserve the conference room at the Hampton Inn in Gurnee. To book a room please see the information below.

Holiday shopping could be long and tedious. We have a wonderful idea to make it more exciting.
Join your friends at Horizon when we head to Gurnee Mills for a full day of shopping.
The itinerary for the day is:
9:00 AM – Continental breakfast will be provided in the conference room
of the Hampton Inn, so everyone will have energy to shop.
10:00 AM – We will give out gift bags and then proceed to Gurnee Mills to shop till we drop.
6:00 PM – Holiday Fiesta Dinner catered by Chipotle back at the Hampton Inn conference room. Following dinner we will have a white elephant gift exchange and holiday themed games.
If you want to attend please RSVP to Kathy Colunto so we can have an idea of the number of gift bags and the amount of dinner to purchase. Hope to see you there!

How to Reserve a Hotel Room?
Interested in spending the night either Friday and/or Saturday? Horizon has a block of rooms available at the Hampton Inn. To reserve your own hotel room, call 847-662-1100 and let them know you are with Horizon. If spending the evening, you must arrange for your own caregivers if needed.
