When you sponsor a camper, you help to empower and enrich the life of an adult with a physical disability. You make it possible for an adult with a physical disability to attend a seven-day summer camp that is designed specifically around his or her physical, social, and emotional needs. You provide an adult camper with the opportunity to connect with others and to establish and strengthen his or her bond with other campers and volunteers.
Your support will provide an adult camper with:
- room and board for 7 days/6 nights at a campsite with the modifications and accommodations necessary to ensure safety and equal access for every adult camper
- a one-on-one attendant to bond with, participate in camp activities with, and to assist with daily self-care
- access to a medical team to administer any medications or address any emergencies, as needed
- access to a variety of camp activities including but not limited to: swimming, boating, horseback riding, and arts and crafts
