Weekly Zoom Calls
Horizon holds weekly Zoom calls as part of our year-round engagement via Camp Never Ends (CNE). Starting in 2020, these weekly calls have been crucial to keeping our community connected, attracting new participants, and fostering new friendships. In addition to building connections throughout the year, these weekly Zoom calls have empowered many in our community to grow within our organization, and to remain engaged if they are out of state or unable to attend camp.
Camp Never Ends Events
In addition to the weekly Zoom hangouts, our Camp Never Ends (CNE) Committee plans events year-round for our community to connect and support one another’s interests. This past year, CNE held virtual events such as crafting and TV watch parties, a Friends trivia night, and a virtual Book Club. CNE has planned in-person events such as Bears watch parties and attending a Power Soccer match. CNE also helped our community stay connected with pen pal and Valentines writing campaigns.
Horizon Photo & Friends Game
Come hang with your Horizon friends between JAN 1-JUNE 30 in-person or virtually, take pictures and post them, earn points, and win prizes! To promote connection throughout the year within the community, we want you to hang with your friends (new and old) and tell us all about it. Maybe even make some new connections.
All hangouts are on your own time, and a picture needs to be taken to document the occasion. See here for more details. Feel free to ask any questions or clarifications. Everyone who participates will win a prize, but there will be more prizes and new bonus photos to take for points as the months pass. So be on the lookout!
At the end of each month, we’ll post a graph of the hangouts that have happened.
