It is time for the annual BOWL FOR HORIZON! Yes, you read it correctly. Another wonderful evening of bowling with friends and family of Horizon. Three games of bowling with a twist, dinner and a variety of prizes to be won. This year’s event will be held Saturday, April 24 at Brunswick Zone in Deerfield Illinois.

How would you like to enjoy a wonderful meal and raise money for the Association of Horizon, Inc. at the same time? Here is your opportunity. On Saturday, March 27 simply go to the Fuddruckers restaurant located at 436 East Golf Rd. in Schaumburg and order a meal. Mention the Association of Horizon, Inc. and present the following coupon when ordering, and the restaurant will donate a portion of your total bill to our organization, its that easy.
Horizon will have the party room from 12-1:30 p.m., but the fundraiser will be going on all day. Click Fuddruckers Tickets and print the coupon. Give to the cashier when placing your order and Horizon will benefit. Please note this fundraiser is only valid for the restaurant in Schaumburg. Print as many coupons and as you need and help the organization by encouraging ALL your friends and family to enjoy their meal and support Horizon Summer Camp.

The Morton Grove Foundation every March sponsors a fundraiser and Horizon is one of this year’s benefactors. The event will be held Thursday, March 11 at White Eagle Banquets in Niles Illinois. The foundation gathers several of the local cuisine for eight evening of food tasting and entertainment. There will be raffle prizes, silent auctions and a cash raffle drawing to round off the evening. On Saturday, January 9 Horizon held its annual kickoff party at Hackney’s restaurant in Glenview Illinois. There was a large turnout and everyone had a good time reminiscing about camp and talking about what is in store for 2010. There were some raffles during the night and participants could fill out their applications for this year summer camp. Don’t worry, if you weren’t able to make it in person applications are available online at this Summer Camp Link, or you can complete it online directly. This year summer camp theme is “Horizon Tours USA” and the following design was selected for this year’s summer camp T-shirts.
