Horizon held in other successful golf outing fundraiser.  Even with a last-minute change of venue, Horizon was able to raise over $15,000.  There were nearly 90 golfers in attendance with close to 150 participants at the sock hop.  The weather, a little cool, made playing golf a pleasure and many individuals came back with some great scores and long drives!  Here are the golf game winners along with other winners from the golf & sock hop games.

1st-place team — Bob Jacobs, Mike Martin, Brian Davis, and Mike Leonard
2nd-place team –Michael Youngberg, Eric Youngberg, Bob Moore and Tommy Schmitz

Following a great afternoon of golf, the players joined the rest of our Sock Hop participants.  The evening entertainment was provided by “The Underdogs.” A delicious steak and chicken dinner with all of the fixins’ was served and no one left hungry.  There were many silent auction items, bucket raffles, ball buster prizes and a cash raffle which gave everyone an opportunity to go home with prizes.
